Ward/Poll Boundary Review – 2011
Existing Township of Tay Ward Map
Council received a resident petition on September 21st, 2011,
per Section 223 of the Municipal Act, 2001 as amended, requesting that a Ward Boundary Review be commenced.
Upon receipt of the petition Council, in accordance with the Municipal Act, 2001 as amended, has directed staff to commence the review with the following schedule:
October 12th – Council Meeting
Council to receive a report to establish criteria for conducting the review
Establishing Criteria for Review
Provisions for Notice
November 9th – Council Meeting
Council to receive Preliminary Report outlining ward boundary review options
November 16 – Public Meeting – 7:00 p.m.
Public Meeting to be held to receive public input on Preliminary Report
Written submissions will continue to be received until Friday, December 2nd, 2011
December 14th – Council Meeting
